Did you know you can actually reverse changes made to your Windows Machines?

One great feature built into Windows XP and Vista is “System Restore”. System Restore records changes made to your system files and configuration - changes made by both legitimate and malicious software. If your PC starts acting erratically or malfunctioning as a result of a new program or a virus, System Restore can be helpful. Often times System Restore will return your PC to a normal working state.

To utilize this feature:
a. Log onto your PC with administrative rights
b. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and highlight System Restore
c. Read the contents of the Welcome Wizard
d. Choose either a “restore point” or “create point”. Then simply follow the prompts.
